This Privacy Policy provides an overview of which personal data we collect from you and what we do with it.

1) Data Storage

When you visit our website
Every time a page is accessed, our internet service provider collects following information that is stored in the log files of the server:
  • the requested page of our domain
  • the Internet address (ip) from which access is made
  • the date and time of the request
  • the operating system, the browser types and versions used by the accessing system
  • the website from which an accessing system reaches our website (so-called referrer)
The IP address or the resolved name will be automatically anonymized by the provider for privacy reasons, we can not draw any conclusions about the person concerned.
We need this information:
  • to create anonymous statistics about your visit to our website
  • to ensure the long-term operability of our systems and website
  • to provide law enforcement authorities with the information necessary for law enforcement in the event of a cyber attack
This anonymously collected information is therefore evaluated statistically and with the intent of increasing data protection and data security in our company, which ultimately ensures an optimal level of protection for the personal data we process.

2) When you buy a license

To buy a license you will be directed to digital river. This is the actual seller of the license and controller of the sense of GDPR in relation to the sales and payment process. For all sales we receive the following data from digital river: name, adress and e-mail adress of the customer, payment method (for example credit card, PayPal etc) and the delivered license key. These data are stored for the duration of the license agreement. Data processing is carried out on the basis of the provisions of the GDPR Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b (Necessity to fulfill the contract) and para. 1 lit. f (Affected person is a customer, see recital 47 sentence 2 of the GDPR). The need regularly arises out of our commitment to support and the concomitant need to verify the legality of the request. In addition, the customer permanently receives the opportunity to receive lost or no longer readable license keys after sufficient personal identification.

3) Cookies

We do not set cookies ourselves.

4) Embed social networks

We do not embed social networks (facebook, twitter, instagram etc.), except own product-specific videos from Youtube. They are embedded in a advanced privacy mode.

4.1) YouTube

 Our site uses YouTube LLC, 901 Cherry Avenue, San Bruno, CA 94066, USA, for the inclusion of video, represented by Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheater Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA. When you visit a page with embedded YouTube videos, your IP address will normally be sent to YouTube and cookies will be installed on your machine. However, the videos on our site have been included in the enhanced privacy mode (YouTube still automatically contacts the Google DoubleClick service. According the Google Privacy Policy, no personal information is being evaluated). As a result, YouTube does not store any information about visitors unless they watch a video. If you click on the video, your IP address will be sent to YouTube and YouTube will know that you have watched the video. If you are logged in to YouTube, this information will also be associated with your user account (you can prevent this by logging out of YouTube before calling the video). 5) Transfer to third parties

Data will not be transmitted to third parties.

6) Contact us

If you contact us by email, the data you provide will be stored to process your enquiry. We are legally required to keep business correspondence for up to 10 years (ยง 257 german HGB). We reserve the right to keep messages which may be relevant in the event of civil law disputes until the respective limitation period. This can be up to 30 years.

7) Evaluation of data

We only collect anonymous statistics about the use of our services in order to improve the user experience of our website and our software. It should be expressly mentioned that we do not perform Profiling.

8) Your rights

 In principle, you have the rights to information, correction, deletion, restriction, data transferability, revocation and objection.
